After establishing a reputation of integrity and always doing right by our customers, we listened…and strengthened our offerings by focusing intensely on customer care and service, while continuing to keep our ears attuned as we continued to grow and evolve…
This evolution brought a fresh new identity at the dawn of the new millennium and our customers asked us for more…

The answer we provided was Gilbert’s Risk Solutions, as it remains today, which blends strategic Risk Management Consulting with traditional insurance solutions to manage and lower the total cost of risk.
However, our customers continued to talk and we continued to listen…
…and the next important question we wished to address was…

We responded through the formulation of SOS Safety Solutions, delivering a solid team highly-experienced Safety Specialists on site monthly to work with our clients in the development and delivery of effective, custom safety management programs designed to reduce claims, insurance premiums with the primary focus being the delivery our clients’ workers home safely to their families each day.
Further listening provided us another unique way to serve our customers through efficient and thorough claims adjudication and management, by creating Synergy Claims Management Company where we were able to reduce customer claims costs by 61%, and these types of reductions and prudent management still exist today.
From there, our customers once again posed an interesting question…
“Could a unique Worker’s Compensation product exist that is available and priced to the mid-market?”
Not only could it exist, but it now does exist because we created Synergy Comp Insurance Company.

Late last year, we began offering Strategic Human Resources services to our client partners and the stars really began to align. We realized that with our foundations in Risk Management, Workers’ Compensation, Claims Administration, and Insurance, the next natural step was to position ourselves as a single-source provider of powerful products and services to help businesses lower their costs while reducing risk and liability.
We truly feel that fate called on us once again, which is why we created Kismet.
